Giveaway: White Flower Farmhouse

**This Giveaway Is Now Closed.**

Because this blog has finally past its 10,000th page view and because I love everyone of you for stopping by here from time to time, I am having a giveaway!  AND I am excited to be able to offer you a gift from White Flower Farmhouse, one of my favorite internet stores.

White Flower Farmhouse is owned by Lori who also blogs at Frugal Farmhouse Design.  She certainly has a gift for turning everyday items into wonderful decorative pieces.  She finds vintage and salvaged items and resells them at White Flower Farmhouse.  It is like having your own personal shopper at estate sales and antique malls!  I, personally, have purchased a dough bowl and antique Christmas ornaments from her shop and absolutely love them.  The dough bowls sits on my dining room table all year round with a constantly changing assortment of items inside to be displayed.  The Christmas ornaments remind me so much of the ornaments we had on our tree when I was a little girl...just beautiful!

Lori even makes her packaging beautiful!  Her prices are fair and her inventory is gorgeous.  Her store also sells farmhouse tables and other items created from salvaged barn wood.  I just wish I lived closer to New York where I could pick up one of those farmhouse tables.  Lori's sister, Lisa, ably assists her with the store and the White Flower Farmhouse Blog.  Lisa has been a joy for me to work with while planning this giveaway for you!  Be sure to visit both of these blogs.  They are two of My Favorite 25 Blogs listed on the side.  Enjoy the following photos from her store:

  1. I usually decorate soon after Thanksgiving. We have several decorations that we have accumulated through the years. I put them out. I buy a poinsettia plant each year. This year I bought 3 amaryllis bulbs. They have green shoots coming up on them already. I put a Xmas tablecloth on the table where we eat and my Xmas runner and placemats on the dining room table.

  2. We are Jewish, so we don't put up a tree, but that doesn't mean that we don't decorate. I fill the house with white lights and magnolia and pine boughs.

I love White Flower Farmhouse and all of her lovely items. This pitcher is lovely.

  5. Hi Judy, just discovered your beautiful blog! Love those animals...we live on five acres here in the beautiful Ozarks in Missouri near Branson!
Since we always have a real tree, we wait until about the 10th or after to put it up so it doesn't dry out too much, although we add tree preservative and tons of water!

  14. I put up my Christmas tree the first weekend in December this year. Often I put it up Thanksgiving weekend. I have an annual Holiday Open House the second weekend in December, so my tree is always up before then. The pitcher is lovely, and especially so filled with greens of the season.

  17. Judy, I put up my tree during the Thanksgiving Hoilday. In the past We have put up a tree in every room in the house, but thi year we did not put up one in the Kitchen or the Dining room, I really feel like i am lost when i walk in those rooms. Next year i will be back to trees in every room. Note to self: never let a man suggest any ideas at chirstmas. Love you, Hope Charlie continues to get better, we so miss him at the NRCS. Etta Mask

  22. Hello!! Found my way here from the lovely White Flower Farmhouse. Christmas tree? Well, we usually have a real tree and wait to put it up until the second or third week in December (as I'm not in a hurry to take it down) - but it's not up yet - and don't know when/if it will be. We've had a crazy year - it would be the first year ever if we don't and I would be devastated....but I do have my little fake tree up in the dining area...Yea!! I would love to be entered in your wonderful giveaway - that pitcher is gorgeous and just loaded with decorating possibilities! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

  24. Hey Judy! We began putting our tree up last Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. Until now, we've just enjoyed the lights. Tonight I plan to add the ornaments. I've collected them from friends, places we've visited, and a dated Hallmark ornaments each year that Paul and I've been married.

LOVE WHITEFLOWERFARMHOUSE.COM Thanks for letting me know about it.

  25. We are in the middle (actually nearing the end) of a major house renovation, so we won't put up a tree this year. As we learned from the Grinch, Christmas will come without all the decorations.

  26. I put our tree up between Thanksgiving weekend and the first week of December usually.
This year I have put up small trees and vignettes around our Home instead of a big tree.
This sweet pitcher would look adorable with a mini tree in it too!
    Blessings for a Merry Christmas

  27. Our tree has been "up" for over a week but we just decorated it on Sunday.

  28. I love your blog! I discovered you a few months ago via White Flower Farmhouse, another blog that I follow!
I put my Christmas tree up on Friday after Thanksgiving. I find that doing it early allows me to have a more unharried holiday time. And I am so happy NOT to be shopping on Black Friday! I love the pitcher you are giving away. I would use it in my holiday decor!
Blessings to you, your family and your animals!

  30. My mother always said you shouldn't decorate until after December 10, she strayed from that statement many times. I do usually wait until December 10 before I decorate. Plan to do it this week-end. Nice pitcher, and beautifully decorated.

  31. Iam planning on getting a fresh cut tree up hopefully by this weekend I have a little fake one wrapped in burlap to decorate as well. The pitcher is so beautiful blessings to you and your beautiful animals.....

  32. We used to get our live tree right after Thanksgiving. But one memorable year, we had a hatching of baby spiders take residence in our living room...by the hundreds. Needless to say, we wait a little while before getting our tree now. We will be getting ours this weekend. I love the pitcher! Thanks for the chance to win!

  33. Hi Judy......Today is December 7, and no tree in our little house yet. Hoping to keep with our tradition, and go get a tree with my dear friend, and her 2 boys this Saturday. You see, my friend, Debbie lost her mother 2 months ago, and she is quite sad right now. I would love to present her with something really lovely for the holiday season. I just know she would love the beautiful pitcher. I am certain it would bring a smile, and she would just treasure it.

  34. You are living the life I would love to have (baby lambs and all). We put up our Christmas tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving so my two college girls can help decorate before they return to school for the last part of the semester. Thanks for the chance to win the lovely pitcher.

  35. I wanted to find a tree last weekend but everyone else in my family said it was too early! (I think they are conditioned to buy late since that is my usual m.o.!) We're going out this weekend and I can't wait to see the difference it will make in my little beach house! Happy holidays!
